If regular classes are like your daily dose of movement, Level Ups are your chance to deep dive. These 2-hour workshop-style classes give you the space, time, and guidance to explore specific poses, skills, or practices — all while racking up just 2 YM credits. Whether you’re looking to float into your first handstand, melt into stillness, or master a tricky pose, there’s a Level Up this month with your name on it.
16 Aug — Restore & Release with Hajar G.
Tanjong Pagar, 10:30am–12:30pm
Step into a sanctuary of stillness and renewal. Hajar will guide you through breathing techniques, myofascial release, and mobility exercises to help you let go of tension from head to toe. Expect longer holds in poses that target your connective tissues — boosting circulation, flexibility, and that oh-so-good post-class glow.
Hot tip: Bring socks, a towel, or an eye mask for the ultimate restorative vibe.
17 Aug — Intro to Handstands with Bruce T.
Orchard Flagship, 11am–1pm
Always wanted to balance on your hands? This is your starting point. Bruce will help you build strength, flexibility, and body awareness for a safe and sustainable handstand practice. You’ll learn how to enter and exit the pose with control (and less fear), so you can start flipping your perspective — literally.
24 Aug — Handstand Entries with Bruce T.
Orchard Flagship, 2pm–4pm
Already comfortable upside-down? Time to refine your entry game. This workshop focuses on the single leg kick-up — the most fundamental way to enter a handstand. You’ll work through drills to “catch” that sweet balancing point, with plenty of practice time to make it stick.
Best for: Beginners who have dabbled in handstands or intermediates looking to level up their entries.
24 Aug — Furthering Splits with Patricia M.
East Coast, 9am–11am
Take your splits from almost there to absolutely nailed. Patricia will guide you through alignment tweaks, strength-building drills, and flexibility training to safely explore deeper variations — including standing and arm balance versions. Expect more stability, control, and confidence in your split game.
30 Aug — Wheel Yoga 101 with Raihan R.
Serangoon Gardens, 1pm–3pm
Meet your new favourite prop: the yoga wheel. Raihan will show you how to use it to deepen backbends, open your shoulders, and challenge your balance — all while supporting your spine. Think gentle wobbles, “a-ha!” moments, and stretches that make your body say thank you.
31 Aug — Navigating Compass Variations with Eunice L.
Tanjong Pagar, 10am–12pm
Compass Pose isn’t just one destination — it’s a journey with plenty of stops along the way. Eunice will take you through hip- and shoulder-opening drills, hamstring lengthening techniques, and balance work to help you find the variation that works best for your body.
